hey, why is it so hard to cut out coffee these days??
realising it's only two more weeks until we leave on our Indian journey, I should actually get up and get things done, but oh, there is little things I need to share today, otherwise it will be next year until I do so :-)
well, most important I finished "something"! oh, it makes me proud to have finished a knitted piece after such a long time... I had all this things started over the last couple of years but nothing ever came to an end, but this did.
I did not follow any instructions, as usual, I just sat down had an idea, and started. so I am even more proud that something came out of it. of course my ideas not always work, fair enough, I hardly ever think it through, but well, that's just the way I am and the way I enjoy doing things. and I am happy and grateful to have the chance to follow my ideas, just like that!
there is some more knitting going on around here and I am almost finished on it...more once it's done, I just shouldn't get too excited ;-)
so besides all that knitting (a Harry Potter movie is not that scary when focusing on your knitting) I had some good cooking going, although I am trying to keep the cooking down as I just end up eating it all...
so, there was my yeast-free pizza - I simply make a dough out of flour, salt, oil and water! as we prefer the thin crust anyway, it makes no difference :-)
having left over bananas I usually make the same banana-bread recipe. it's great but I just wanted to try something new last week...I came across a coconut-banana-cake that I topped with chocolate and because the girls and I love it, I baked it in heart shape, just for fun... as a result I had a man sitting at the dinner table thinking over what special occasion he might have forgotten ;-)
the girls and I started on Christmas crafting...
uh, and not to forget last nights "Moussaka"!
