today I realized how grateful I am to have this chance to teach yoga classes twice a week... it gives my week a little bit of routine!
I do like my free-style life and love to be spontaneous and go with our mood or cook whatever "hit" my mind just a minute ago...but I have to admit that it still needs a bit of rhythm to bring me back to chores and calm me down in between a bit too much spontaneity and my mouth saying "sure I can do that, no problem" ;-)
another thing is that it takes away this morning-horror of the school drive! at the moment it's just a nightmare to take the girls to school as traffic is so unpredictable and by the time I am back from there I really need some Pranayama and to stand on my head for a while to feel centered and happy again.
yes, and that's what I do before I start my class, I do my own practice and it feels soooo nice...on the other days it's not always possible to keep that rhythm and so I am really grateful for that!
AND I love the faces of my students...it's such a big difference between the face and way they walk in through the door and the way they walk out of it again. I can feel the energy going through me and moving to each member of the class and that's just such a wonderful work I am able to do...
my other job seems a bit tougher at the moment...it's definitely not only happy faces from my girls when doing the Mum-job ;-) but oh yes, I do love that job! it's a hard one and just this morning I was at the edge as for me it's not that easy to stay calm in between clearing the breakfast table, bumping my head and calling the kids for the 100th time to please go brush their teeth...
good thing is, we all have this moments and there is also the other moments when I get a cuddle and another kiss and cuddle good bye at school and a big smile or a "thank you Mum"...and when they're finally in bed I could watch them for hours in their calm and peaceful sleep...
oh yes, I am grateful for what I have and I'm working on my inner peace to go through everything in a calm and quiet way every day...over and over again...
and I wanted to share with you a picture of my favorite flowers - birds of paradise...as it is also one of my favorite yoga poses I am working on...
